Gloria Emile Brown BSc., LLB, MBA

Miss Gloria Brown is an Attorney-at-Law and Senior Partner in her firm Gloria Brown & Company.

She was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 1986, having successfully completed her Bachelor of Law Degree and Certificate in Legal Education. Gloria possesses extensive knowledge and understanding of the law and in particular conveyance and estates, where she has covered a range of issues relating to land matters. In 2000, she left the Office of the Register of Titles where she spent fourteen (14) years, to become the first ever Land Tenure Specialist in Jamaica at the Land Administration and Management Programme (LAMP). She was later promoted to Project Director. While at LAMP Gloria spear headed the drafting and eventual passing of the Land Tenure Clarification Act, which sets the legal framework for the operation of LAMP.

A proud graduate of St. Jago High School, Gloria has also excelled in academia where in addition to her legal qualifications she earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Sector Management and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West Indies.

Her belief in giving of one’s self and back to the community is evident in the many charitable and voluntary work in which Gloria is involved. She volunteers as an Attorney-at-Law at the Bethel Baptist Church Legal Aid Clinic, student Adviser at the University of Technology, a Member of the Sligoville All-Age School, and the Chairman of the Bog Walk/Sligoville Community Development Fund. She is also the Founder and Teacher of the Sligoville Baptist Church Institute and the Phillippo Baptist Church Legal Aid Clinic, as well as a Deacon and Lay Preacher.

Kalisia C-J Findley. B.A., LL.B, LL.M.,MCIArb.

Miss Kalisia C-J Findley is an Attorney-at-Law, Mediator and Managing Partner in her firm Gloria Brown & Company.

She was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 2005 having successfully completed her Bachelor of Law Degree and Certificate in Legal Education. Kalisia possesses extensive knowledge and understanding of the law and in particular conveyance and estates, where she has covered a range of issues relating to land matters. Kalisia is a Supreme Court of Jamaica approved Mediator and is fluent in Spanish.

Her areas of legal practice include, but are not limited to Litigation; Estate Planning and Settlement; First Registration of land; Adverse Possession Applications; Matrimonial Proceedings; Complex Negotiations; Commercial Law; Contract preparation and providing legal opinions on a variety of matters.

Kalisia has excelled in academia where in addition to her legal qualifications she possesses a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) in Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in Spanish and Political Science from the University of the West Indies. She also has numerous hours of training in Mediation and Collaborative Law.

Kalisia is also a trained mentor with Youth Opportunities Unlimited, a teacher at the Sligoville Baptist Church Institute, a volunteer mediator at the Dispute Resolution Foundation of Jamaica and a volunteer Attorney-at-Law at the Bethel Baptist Church Legal Aid Clinic.

Kimberley Bowen BSc, LLB

Kimberley Bowen BSc, LLB is an Attorney-at-Law, As a former paralegal at the Land Administration and Management Programme (LAMP), Kimberley was admitted to practice law in 2012. She received her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of the West Indies, and earned her Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School. She handles a wide array of matters in the areas of Probate and Estate Management, Conveyancing and Property Law, Matrimonial Proceedings and Civil Litigation with a focus on real property law.

Kimberley’s most recent assignments include conducting property title investigations, and other due diligence matters; reviewing and drafting applications under the Registration of Titles Act, including applications to register land and adverse possession applications; making applications to the Supreme Court for the rectification of Certificates of Title and advising clients on estate planning and management, including issues as it relates to taxation on the estate.
